The HUB is an 7-storey office building located directly over Victoria Station and rail-tracks and comprises 100,000 sq ft of Grade A office space.

The existing building was designed by former Arup partner Peter Foggo in outline in 1983 and built over the platforms of the station between 1988-1991. Planning permission was granted in 2017 for an extensive refurbishment of the building which included major improvements to the ground floor retail spaces, office entrances and public realm while adding a two and a half-storey set-back roof extension, which will provide up to 760 additional jobs in new high-quality office space.

Additionally, the originally covered Colonnade Walk was to be opened-up to create a bright and welcoming area lined with shops and restaurants as well as new hard and soft landscaping.

MBP was appointed by KCP demolition to undertake the Temporary Works Designs necessary to facilitate the Works and such designs included:

— Temporary support and restraint of the retained façade to Colonnade Walk along Buckingham Palace Road.

— Temporary support and deconstruction methodology for the glazed atrium roof and supporting structure.
