The film studio building was originally built as Milton Congregational Hall. The existing facades have been retained and incorporated into the mix of terraces and set backs to the rear of the property. The site was underpinned to enable a basement storey to be built beneath all properties.

Due to the number of stories requiring provision for disproportionate collapse, the new structure installed within the existing façade footprint is steel-framed structure with composite steel and reinforced concrete floor slabs. The roof structures are formed in traditional timber rafters. For sustainable drainage design, rain water from the site is directed to attenuation tanks housed beneath the rear gardens.
