An eleven storey apartment building which is part of Wimpey Homes' large Silvertown development. MBP worked with TM2 on other buildings that form part of the development of the site.

The Eastern Quay apartments are accessed internally by lifts and corridor spurs, but have a general external system of private balconies and terraces. The semi-basement and first level floor are car parks with some centralised services

The structural frame is an in-situ concrete flat slab with "short-wall" columns set into partitions or party walls. Lateral stability is provided by one core shaft and one isolated cross wall. The balconies are supported by an exposed steelwork frame and have timber decks with glass balustrade panels. CFA piles bearing into the Lambeth Group sands support the structure. Because the building straddles ground anchors that form part of the adjacent quay wall, detailed provisions for monitoring the piles, anchors and wall have been established.
